If Christians claim a personal relationship w/ Jesus instead of a religion should they be entitled to tax free?
Question by capekicks: If Christians claim a personal relationship w/ Jesus instead of a religion should they be entitled to tax free?
Should they be tax exempt if they are by their own claims, not a religion.
Their personal relationship with a historical or mythological figure shouldn't qualify them should it.
If so would claiming a personal relationship with Charles Manson qualify you for tax free status?
He is a historical figure with claims of a special relationship WHh God and an established following.

Christians (and other religious folks) are never tax exempt based upon their beliefs.
