Fantasy
by Stephen - Cat Herder

Question by [Insert REALLY Cool Name Here!]*: What is the difference between fantasy and reality?

What I'm looking for is:
1- How would you define fantasy and reality?
2- On average, does any idea considered fantasy mean that the idea will never come true?
3- Is their any chance that a person becomes so attached to fantasy that the person loses track of reality?
4- Why do you think so many children magical fantasy books are controversial? Is it because many believe that children can lose track of reality?
5- Why do you think many people are drawn to fantasies?

Thanks!

Answer by merlin the mediocre
reality is actually occuring while fantasy is the distortion of reality in either a positive or negative direction.
2. Your fantasies should be just farther than your goals lead to
3. A person should only lose touch with reality in a controled environment.
4. children's books can be controversial because too many people have too much free time on their hands
5. fantasies can make every day drudgery more enjoyable.
You are welcome.
