Where does the relationship of business, politics, or law and organized crime start?

Why are these relationships successful? How may we better combat organized crime and its influences on business, politics, and law? Explain.

I dont look at sites but think its best not to re elect anyone for office because they will fall to the prey of corruption. It seems very odd the public will vote for a person in a primary in Congress when they know they have 13 counts against them.
