Science, Social, Health, Work, would, Considered

Would social work be considered a health science?

I'm a social major and I was planning on getting my bachelor's in it. And then I also thought that maybe I wanted to be a registered nurse. And i heard that you can go to nursing school with any degree in health science. So i just wanted to know whether i needed to change my major or can I keep it the same?

Yes i would say it is as is mental health as it's health of the mind and body.Congrats for going for your dream and staying in school to be a great nurse and one day lady doctor..[smile].
