Is it possible to plea bargain a 2 count felonious assault?
Question by jlo: Is it possible to plea bargain a 2 count felonious assault?
A friend got into a female fight. In the midst of the commotion the woman's daughter jumped into the fight (whose pregnant). Now my friend is being charged with 2 counts of felonious assault with a deadly weapon (they're saying she tried to run them both down with her van) Is it possible for her to get a plea bargain? She's facing a mandatory 3-10 years if taken to trial and found guilty.
Forgot to mention this her first offense

Anything is possible. Plea bargains are at the discretion of the prosecutor. In the case you describe (violent felony), I seriously doubt that the plea bargain will be accepted.
